In the configuration dialog
you can choose the tab Users. If you double click
on a user, you will get following dialog:
This is the main dialog to administer your user profile. The passwords are used only, if you decide to log into the Xpert-Timer through the login dialog instead of the Windows automated login.
Click on the tab "Extra" in order to enter the working hours per day and the planned hours, that you expect to work on the projects. Those numbers are neccessary to calculate the finishing date of the project. Don't forget the working days per week.
Enter an email address in order to receive and send emails to / from co-workers about the status of the project.
With the security level you can decide what documents the user is allowed to see. Please see the document management for further information.
To keep an overview of the cost, you have the possibility to enter a cost center. You can filter for cost centers in your statistics.
To calculate the revenue and cost for the
project, Xpert-Timer needs the charge per hour of the user and the billing factor. The billing factor is neccessary for example,
if you have an internship user work on the project.
This user produces not as much outcome as a normal employee and
therefore the billing factor should only be 50%. If you entered a hourly charge amount in the project properties as well as the user, Xpert-Timer will use the charge of the certain user.
Choose the tab "Workgroups" in order to assign the user to certain groups. You can use the little button on the right to create a new group if needed.
Use the tab "Right groups" to assign certain right groups to the user. The right groups are created in the general configuration
The tab "Times total" shows you the exact times, the user has worked on projects.
