Xpert-Timer is programmed for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server (incl. Small Business Server) and Windows Vista. You can also use it with Win98/ME, but due to the server technology it is not recommended.

Database

The connection to the database is realized through an ADO-interface. Be sure to always have the most recent ADO-drivers on your server and your clients. At the moment the actual version is V2.85.

In the basic setup the Xpert-Timer uses the Access database. This database is only recommended for less than 3 users. For more than 3, we recommend to install a SQL database. Microsoft SQL-Server 2008 is free to use. You can download it here: SQL Server 2008 Express
