Manual Entry

Print this Topic Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

If you right click on a project or if you right click on the Xpert-Timer Symbol in your SYSTRAY, you can choose the manual entry.

A manual entry is necessary, if you forgot to hit the play button to start timing a project or if you have forgotten to switch on the Xpert-Timer but have already worked some time for a project until you have noticed. Also if you happen to be away from your computer, your can add timestamps manually afterwards.

nachtrag

First of all, choose the project you want to add the time on. You can choose between the capture type "From/Till" and "From/hours". This means, you can either enter a start and finish time, or just enter the hours you want to add to the project, but no exact time stamp.

Use the TAB-Key to jump from one field to the next, so you save time not using the mouse. If you hit ENTER, the timestamp is saved and will show up in the list at the bottom of the dialog. All manual entries are listed here.

Use the Comment area to capture the reason of this manual entry. Maybe in a couple of weeks you are wondering why you added the time to the project.

The list displays the last manual entries you created for th project
