Xpert-Timer runs on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows7 and Windows 2003 Server (incl. Small Business Server).

Database

Access to the database is realized through the Windows ADO interface. Make sure you have the newest ADO driver installed on your server as well as on your clients. The most current version is: V2.8 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6c050fe3-c795-4b7d-b037-185d0506396c)

Xpert-Timer includes an access database, which we suggest to use with a maximum of 3 users. If you plan on running Xpert-Timer with more users, you should install a SQL Server. The free Express Version of MS-SQL 2008 or 2005 is perfectly fine. Here you find more information about the server and the server setup:
