Your workstation "to go"

u3_logo_kleinThe single version of the Xpert-Timer is U3-compatible.

u3_usbstickCompared to usual USB memory sticks, U3-USB-memory sticks save your complete workstation on the stick. No matter if you use your colleagues computer, any computer in the Internet cafe or on vacation, you will always have access to your own project times, your browser favorites or your mail client. Your important data is saved in a special partition on the stick and no data will remain on the guest computer, once you have detached your stick. And the best: U3-memory sticks are not more expensive than general USB memory sticks.
 
Get your U3-Setup File at our download page. Install the XTInstENU3.exe with the installation guide of your U3 stick. The complete Xpert-Timer including the database will be saved on your stick. If you happen to have german words in your Xpert-Timer, make sure you downloaded the correct installation file (XTInstENU3.exe). You can now run the Xpert-Timer from any available computer. As soon as you detach your stick, you will not leave any traces on the foreign computer.

Attention: Be sure to sign off your U3 stick before your detach it, otherwise you might loose data!

Installation

Plug your U3-stick into your computer and download the U3 Version from our homepage. As soon as you start the installation, the setup will automatically detect your U3-stick and installl Xpert-Timer on it.

To install, choose the XTInstENU3.exe file for the PRO Version and XTInstBasicENU3.exe file for the BASIC Version and click OK. Now the Download Wizard will start. Xpert-Timer will be installed on your U3-Stick.

Click "Done" and Xpert-Timer is now ready to use.

 
Now Xpert-Timer appears in your menu. Just click on it to execute the program.

Save an existing database on your U3-Stick / Restore backup

Your access database is stored on your U3 stick. The path to the database is usually: Stick\System\Apps\1B2C3889-87E0-4115-9af3-087bdcdabf38\Data\Database\xt.mdb

So if you need to restore a database backup, rename the backup to xt.mdb and copy it to above mentioned path. Replace the existing database and you are ready to go.
