Manage your users here. If you double click on a user in your User Administration dialog this window will open. The easiest way to add new users to your Xpert-Timer system is to start Xpert-Timer from their computer. The program will notice, that the user does not exist in the database and will add it automatically. Xpert-Timer uses the Windows Login by default. All new users will be granted the Basic Access Level. Only the first user added to the database will be granted the Administrator level. Make sure you assign the correct Access levels to the users.
In case you have users, that don't work for the company any more, you can deactivate the user unchecking the "Active" box.

This is the main dialog to administer your user profile. The passwords are used only, if you decide to log into the Xpert-Timer through the login dialog instead of the Automated Windows Login
Enter an email address in order to receive and send emails to / from co-workers about the status of the project.
With the security level you can decide what documents the user is allowed to see. Please see the document management for further information.
Billing
To keep an overview of the cost, you have the possibility to enter an internal and billable price. The internal is to calculate the cost for the project and the billable is the calculation for billing your client.
If you entered a hourly charge amount in the project properties as well as the user you can specify which to use in the project settings.
Reset user settings

In case you need to reset user Settings or delete a timestamp of the user, due to a power failure and wrong calculation of the project time, here you find the buttons to do so.
Choose the tab "Workgroups" in order to assign the user to certain groups. You can use the little button on the right to create a new group if needed.

Use the tab "Access levels" to assign a certain access level to the user. The access levels are created in the user administration.

Times total shows, how may hours the user has worked this month. You can print this report by right clicking or hitting the button "Print". The report is created by the first and last timestamp of the day. So if you have Xpert-Timer in your Autostart, you can use it as a work time tracker as well.

In this tab you can assign special modules to your user. This might be the XTReport Modul or the synchronization module.

The XTReport allows you to create your own Reports by using SQL Statements.
